A New Learning Adventure
My first adventure into creating a website for personal use. The goal of this website is to show projects that I have done over my IT career as well as a journal for my personal use. Possible this may grow into a more robust website for advertising my work. Other than this website, in the past 2 months, I've created a whole homelab from a Dell R610. The goal of this home lab is to practice for creating my home infrastructure. I am purchasing a 1st home and want to incorporate a NAS (TrueNAS), DNS (Pihole), Firewall (Pfsense) and a stack of VMs to practice Cybersecurity CTFs or vulnerabilities.
I also read "Countdown to Stuxnet" by Kim Zetter. I highly enjoyed this book. The examples and history it provided a backdrop for the event in Iran. The book went in depth in the structure and organization of the attack. It also went into the political consequences of the attack and future repercussion of the attack. This was my first cybersecurity book and I highly enjoyed it. There were multiple days I have found myself read well into the night, forced to finish the current chapter and continue the next day. I highly recommend this book to anyone interest in Cyber Warfare, Security or Hacking in general.
